Welcome to my latest experiment!
This project allows me to experiment with not only Git, but Linux administration, building and compiling code from a project within Linux, understanding how a MMO Game Server functions, Database administration and modification, potentially gain experience modifying game code to resolve bugs, and potentially create new content!
In the meantime, it also provides an opportunity to game with friends, who can help me test how things are working, possibly find and test bugs, and maybe let them experience a snapshot of time that has ultimately had a lifelong impact.
THIS website is also an offshoot project that I am deploying to make it easier for friends to create an account and join, but also get experience with PHP, maybe understanding Javascript, and refresh myself on some HTML and CSS.

- Rule 1. This is for fun and educational purposes. This can't be considered an alternative to Blizzard's official releases and I can't provide that kind of support. Check out Classic WoW, and hope alongside me that they'll do Season of Discovery in Wrath of the Lich King someday!
- Rule 2. Please be kind to anyone else that joins. There are bots, but real folks should be treated with respect!

1. First of all, you must create an account. The account is used to log into the game and manage your password here. Click here to open the registration page
2. Download our compatible World of Warcraft Client. You can download it from here: Download This already has the latest compatible patch, which is 3.3.5a (12340).
3. The client is already configured to connect to this game server, and has a few basic addons included for your convenience. Beyond that, feel free to modify the in-game settings for your Monitor's target resolution, or adjust the individual graphic settings as needed. I do recommend checking the "Addons" button at character select to ensure "Load Out of Date Addons" is enabled. Also feel free to check out other addons compatible with version 3.3.5 of the game over on Curseforge!
